Dr. Robert Sambursky embarked on his academic journey at Brown University, where he earned his undergraduate degree. His pursuit of excellence led him to Boston University, where he attained his medical degree with honors, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Following an enriching internship at Mount
Auburn Hospital in Massachusetts, he further honed his skills during his residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where he was distinguished as Co-Chief Resident.
Specializing in advanced cataract and implant surgery, corneal transplants, and external eye diseases, Dr. Sambursky underwent rigorous subspecialty training as a Cornea Fellow at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital.
In 2005, he brought his expertise and passion for ophthalmology to Coastal Eye Institute, where he continues to serve with dedication and excellence.
