Dr. Selina Lin earned her medical degree from the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, laying the foundation for her illustrious career in ophthalmology. Her residency took her to Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City, where she distinguished herself as Chief Resident in her final year.

Following her residency, Dr. Lin pursued advanced training through a rigorous two-year medical and surgical vitreo-retinal fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine, based at Shands University Hospital. After completing her fellowship, she seized an opportunity at MetroHealth Hospital, assuming the role of Assistant Director of Vitreoretinal and Eye Trauma. Concurrently, she served as a Senior Clinical Instructor at Case Western Reserve University, imparting her knowledge to the next generation of ophthalmologists.

Dr. Lin’s commitment to excellence is reflected in her board certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and her specialized training as a retina specialist. With over a decade of experience in serving patients in the greater Tampa Bay area, she has earned a reputation for her expertise and compassionate care.

In 2020, Dr. Lin brought her wealth of experience and dedication to Coastal Eye Institute, where she continues to positively impact the lives of her patients through her unwavering commitment to excellence in ophthalmology.
